General: Upright, biennial plants with a branching growth habit. Plants glabrous.
Flowers: Flowers grow in umbels, are white, we measured a flower at 3 mm diameter. Bracts subtend the umbels, there are 0 to 3 filiform bracts.
Leaves: Leaves alternate, lanceolate to ovate, twice pinnately divided into linear lobes. Stem leaf measured at 6 cm long by 3.5 cm wide, basal leaf measured at 6 cm long by 15 mm wide.
Height: Height listed in Budd's Flora to 100 cm tall, we measured plants to 92 cm tall.
Habitat: Roadsides and waste ground in the parklands and boreal forest.
Abundance: Common.
Origin: Introduced.

When and where photographed: Photos taken July 7th, on a trail in deciduous forest about 200 km east of Regina, SK, and July 11th on a roadside, boreal forest, about 450 km northeast of our home in Regina, SK.
